DESIGNER

FIDA ALKAUD

With over a decade of experience in the luxury industry working with some of the world’s largest department stores and brands. Fida started her journey as a creative specializing in Image Consulting and Fashion Styling before discovering her passion for curating fashion trends that are accessible to all women. Fida has led the buys for stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and Harvey Nichols including brands from Saint Laurent, Fendi, Valentino, Givenchy, to Loewe and more.
In this new chapter, Fida has followed her calling and urge to finally become a designer and create a footwear brand that aligns with her true values.

INSPIRATION

"My mother is one of my main sources of inspiration.
One of my most cherished memories is her telling me the story of how she created her first heel at 5 years old.
Growing up in a small neighborhood in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in the 1960s, her childhood dreams were simple yet profound: a pair of heels to wander the neighborhood with grace.
With determination and resourcefulness beyond her years, she ingeniously fashioned her very first heel at the tender age of 5. Using nothing but two humble tin cans and and scraps of fabrics, she brought her vision to life.
The sparkle in her eyes and the warmth in her smile as she recounted this tale always left an indelible mark on my heart, a testament to her unwavering spirit and endless creativity that I draw upon to this day."
